Broken Quill
The time may pass, but may I always learn. Knowledge about the world and people around me shall keep me young. But will I ever know myself?

For friends and random interwebs people, I ask a favor.
I have had my wonderful cat Scout for almost fourteen years. She has been with me through good times and bad. Whenever anything has gone wrong, she has been there for me. You will never find a sweeter thing.
Lately my poor Scout has not been doing well. Arthritis set in a few months back and she needs a boost getting up on the bed. A few weeks ago she started getting this really weird sneeze. Last week she was very distant and not herself. Then she began vomiting frequently and having “litter box issues.” I took her to the vet a couple days ago and she got a load of antibiotics and fluids. She had gotten dehydrated. The vet also felt some kind of growth along her stomach. Blood tests ensued.
Results came back nothing super specific but that there was definitely something growing there. I am bring her back in a couple weeks at the latest to see if there is any enlarging of said mass. Today she could not keep any food down.
My heart is breaking thinking of how she feels and there is so very little I can do for her. Please folks, keep my cute little Scout in your thoughts…even if you are allergic to cats and hate felines…Scout is just too lovable.
